Finding a game
The home page shows every game as a tile. At the top, the spotlight moves on to another game every half minute (on a phone it shows one game per visit); it also tells you whether there are open lobbies right now.
- Search: type a name into the search field above the tiles. It also finds German and French
names ("Schach", "Échecs") and does not care about accents.
Escor ✕ clears the search. - Shadow Saloon on Twitch: a Twitch sign stands to the right of the page title; a click opens the category on Twitch. When somebody streams right now, it shows “Live” and the number of streams, and “In the spotlight” shows a Twitch slide with up to three streams between the games — a click on a stream opens it on Twitch. The page loads nothing from Twitch for this.
- Switch the view: to the right of the search you choose between Classic (all games from A to Z) and Grouped (by game family: Card Games, Board & Strategy, Party & Quiz, Puzzles, Arcade). In the grouped view the bar with the families jumps straight to a section. Your browser remembers your choice.
- Switching the game in a dialog: wherever a game appears as a small pill with ▾ (new lobby, lobby settings, find lobbies), a click opens the same picker with search and families – the games you played last are at the top.
